About Aris Editions

We are a specialty Giclée printmaker focused on art and photography. Our Seattle production studio is located in the heart of Pioneer Square in the Western Building. The building has been to home to a large vibrant colony of artists and photographers for over twenty years. Feel free to come by our studio for a tour by appointment. We also have our doors open to the public for the First Thursday gallery openings every month.

The founder, Jay Massena started his art career at Cornish Institute for the Arts with a focus on graphics and illustration. After a combination of freelancing and personal artistic pursuits, Jay joined Microsoft in 1994. It was at Microsoft that his interest in digital technology, media and imaging bloomed into a passion. With a vision for how digital tools and media would change art forever, he started Aris Editions to explore these new frontiers with other artists and clients.
